I’m a writer, editor, and public speaker based in Denver, Colorado, where I live with my spouse, our son, and our four cats.

I received my BA in English/Creative Writing and German in 2010 from Denison University, and my Masters in Social Work in 2017 from the University of Denver.

Since then, my work life has been eclectic in nature, but I have always returned to writing; poetry was my first love, and will forever be my creative home.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, caring for my many house plants, and getting involved in the local activism scene.
